In project class we learned about Lunar or Chinese New Year! We learned about different traditions likes fireworks, feasting, and gifting red envelopes. We discussed the origin story and how it connects to today's traditions. We also learned various symbols of the holiday and their meanings. We made these lucky red dragons to decorate our classroom.
